About

Cape Breton Highlands National Park, Canada

Hiking for hours, bushwhacking to remote spots, pitching short casts, pulling flies out of trees… all to catch some eight inch fish that will eat anything that looks like a bug? For some it’s ridiculous. But I love it.

These are incredible fish, and they live in the most beautiful places. So I write about it occasionally. Maybe you’ll be entertained and get some ideas for your next escape to the wild places where brook trout still swim.
